Speculating Television: Fringe Friday!

Another rollicking episode last week, that's for sure! Before we discuss the latest, let's talk about last week's 5.05: "An Origin Story."

1) I thought we would get Etta's origin story, given the title. However, not only did I think we just witnessed the origin story of a superhero/super-villain, but more to the point, I think we just saw the origin story of the Observers. And that's chilling, because it makes me put things into a new perspective for the entire show, like when September told Peter that he had a child with the wrong Olivia, and that must be made right (and if you saw "The Bullet That Saved the World," you know what Peter having a child with the RIGHT Olivia would instigate; hell, that child has been the reason this entire season could happen!). Oh, the possibilities of this are chilling… and I can't wait to see how it all ends!

2) The acting in this episode was fantastic, especially for Anna Torv (Olivia) and John Noble (Walter). The weight of grief in this episode was so palpable.

3) Peter. Oh, Peter… what a dark, dark path you're going down….

Now let's see what this next episode has in store!

Episode 5.06: "Through the Looking Glass and What Walter Found There"
Air Time: 9:00 pm, EST, FOX

Feel free to share your thoughts about the episode. If you're a Fringe newbie, feel free to ask questions about the show in general before the spoilers hit. Invite your friends, and let's give Fringe the sending away party it deserves!

WARNING: The Observers moderating this thread will not take kindly to anyone spoiling the show beyond the above-named episode. So if you have juicy, spoilery scoop about future episodes that haven't aired yet, save it. Mention it here and the Observers will melt your brain. That is all.
